I don’t think using prepared foods is a good thing, but may blessings rain down on the person who decided that people probably want to buy pre-peeled and pre-cut carrots in a bag!!
To make this dish add 1/2 tbsp. of margarine, 1/4 cup of water and 2 tbsp. of maple syrup into your skillet.
Bring this to a boil and add 2 cups of matchstick carrots.
Cover your skillet and simmer the carrots for 6 minutes. Stir and continue simmering (uncovered) for anywhere between 5-8 minutes, depending on how crunchy you like your carrots.
A word of warning: As your home fills with the sweet smell of maple syrup, your children will probably think they are having pancakes for dinner. You may want to forewarn them.

Husband- He liked it but thought I made too little. So, if you have good eaters at your house, be sure to double the recipe.
Son #1- He ate them!
Son #2- I thought he was eating them, but really the sneaky dude was just licking the maple syrup off the carrots.
